702 - Harb informed me, saying: Muhammad ibn Musaffa narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Waqid narrated to us, from Bashir ibn Zadhan, from 'Umar ibn Subh, from Makhul, from Shaddad ibn Aws, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Mu'awiyah is the most forbearing of my Ummah and the most generous of them."
٧٠٢ - أَخْبَرَنِي حَرْبٌ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ صُبْحٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مُعَاوِيَةُ أَحْلَمُ أُمَّتِي وَأَجْوَدُهَا»
