706 - Ya'qub ibn Sufyan informed us, saying: Isma'il ibn Abi Uways narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, from al-Walid ibn Dawud al-Ansari, from the family of 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, from his cousin 'Ubadah ibn al-Walid, that he narrated to him from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Quraish, the Ansar, Aslam, Ghifar, Juhaynah, Muzaynah, and Ashja' are my allies (mawali) to the exclusion of other people; they have no ally besides Allah."
٧٠٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ مِنْ آلِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَمِّهِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «قُرَيْشٌ، وَالْأَنْصَارُ، وَأَسْلَمُ، وَغِفَارٌ، وَجُهَيْنَةُ، وَمُزَيْنَةُ، وَأَشْجَعُ، مَوَالِيَّ مِنْ دُونِ النَّاسِ، لَيْسَ لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَوْلًى»
