714 - Muhammad ibn al-Mundhir ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan al-Tirmidhi narrated to us, saying: I asked Abu 'Abd Allah, saying: What do you say regarding the affair that took place between Talhah, al-Zubayr, 'Ali, and 'A'ishah? And I believe he mentioned Mu'awiyah. He replied: "Who am I to speak about the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him? There was something that occurred between them, and Allah knows best."
