727 - 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Rawh narrated to us, saying: "Shu'bah used to deny that Abu al-Haytham ibn al-Tayyihan witnessed [the battle of] Siffin."
٧٢٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: ثنا رَوْحٌ قَالَ: «كَانَ شُعْبَةُ يُنْكِرُ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَبُو الْهَيْثَمِ بْنُ التَّيِّهَانِ شَهِدَ صِفِّينَ»
