739 - Al-Maymuni informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Abu Usama narrated to us, saying: Hisham narrated to us, saying: "Al-Zubayr accepted Islam when he was sixteen years old. He did not miss any expedition that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) undertook, and he was killed when he was sixty-something years old, may Allah have mercy upon him."
٧٣٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَيْمُونِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا هِشَامٌ، قَالَ: «أَسْلَمَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً، وَلَمْ يَتَخَلَّفْ عَنْ غَزَاةٍ غَزَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَقُتِلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً، رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ»
