748 - Ja'far ibn Hisham informed us, he said: al-Mu'alla ibn Asad narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, he said: Sa'id ibn Abi 'Aruba narrated to us, from Qatada, from al-Hasan, from Qays ibn 'Ubad, he said: 'Ali said on the Day of the Camel: "O Hasan, O Hasan, I wish your father had died twenty years ago."
٧٤٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ: «يَا حَسَنُ، يَا حَسَنُ، لَيْتَ أَبَاكَ مَاتَ مُنْذُ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً»
