Translation · EN

764 - Abd al-Malik al-Maymuni informed me, saying: I heard Harun ibn Ma'ruf saying: "There is nothing between us and the companions of Muhammad, peace be upon him, except goodness; they fought for the religion of Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He. It is not appropriate here except to give thanks to Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, then to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then to his companions, may Allah be pleased with them."
