And the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "If one of you were to spend the equivalent of the earth in gold, he would not reach a mudd of one of them, nor half of it." So the virtue belongs to them, and leave aside mentioning what they were involved in.
وَقَالَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ أَنْفَقَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِلْءَ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا مَا أَدْرَكَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلَا نَصِيفَهُ» . فَالْفَضْلُ لَهُمْ، وَدَعْ عَنْكَ ذِكْرَ مَا كَانُوا فِيهِ "
