772 - Ali ibn Harb informed us, saying: Husayn ibn Ali related to us, from Mujammi ibn Yahya, from Sa’id ibn Abi Burdah, from his father, from Abu Musa, who said: We prayed the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), then we said: "If only we would wait until we pray the Isha prayer with him." He came out to us and said: "Are you still here?" We said: "Yes, we are waiting to pray the Isha prayer with you." He said: "You have done well and acted rightly." Then he raised his head toward the sky—and he used to raise his head toward the sky often—and said: "The stars are a source of security for the inhabitants of the sky, and when the stars pass away, the sky will encounter what it has been promised. I am a source of security for my companions, and when I pass away, my companions will encounter what they have been promised. And my companions are a source of security for my Ummah, and when my companions pass away, my Ummah will encounter what it has been promised."
