773 - Al-Maymuni informed us, saying: Amr ibn Awn announced to us, saying: Hushaym related to us, from Abu Yahya Abd al-Jabbar ibn Abi Hazim, from his father, from Sahl ibn Sa'd, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "O Allah, forgive the companions, and those who saw me, and those who saw me." Amr ibn Awn said: "To those who saw," without a nun. He said: I asked, "What is the meaning of his saying: 'And to those who saw, and to those who saw'?" He replied, "Those who saw those who saw them."
٧٧٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَيْمُونِيُّ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلصَّحَابَةِ، وَلِمَنْ رَآنِي، وَلِمَنْ رَآنِي» . قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ: لِمَنْ رَأَى، بِلَا نُونٍ. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: مَا قَوْلُهُ: «وَلِمَنْ رَأَى، وَلِمَنْ رَأْي» .؟ قَالَ: مَنْ رَأَى مَنْ رَآهُمْ
