455 - 'Abd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us, saying: My father related to me, saying: Sulayman ibn Dawud related to us, saying: Shu'bah related to us, from Mansur ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Ghudani, who said: I heard al-Sha'bi say: I met more than five hundred of the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace; they said: "Verily, 'Uthman, 'Ali, Talhah, and al-Zubayr are in Paradise."
٤٥٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ: ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْغُدَانِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ، قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ خَمْسِمِائَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالُوا: إِنَّ عُثْمَانَ، وَعَلِيًّا، وَطَلْحَةَ، وَالزُّبَيْرَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ "
