914 - Hanbal said: Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha'bi, who said: "There is no innovation introduced into Islam, but there is in the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, that which refutes it."
٩١٤ - قَالَ حَنْبَلٌ: وَحَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: «مَا ابْتُدِعَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ بِدْعَةٌ إِلَّا وَفِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا يُكَذِّبُهُ»
