933 - Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan al-Missisi informed me, saying: Muhammad ibn Adam ibn Sulayman narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn al-Yaman narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the verse: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me" [al-Dhariyat: 56], he said: "I fashioned (jabaltuhum) them upon misery and happiness."
٩٣٣ - أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْيَمَانِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ: {وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ} [الذاريات: ٥٦] ، قَالَ: جَبَلْتُهُمْ عَلَى الشَّقَاءِ وَالسَّعَادَةِ
