934 - And al-Hasan ibn Ahmad al-Kirmani informed us, saying: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, [p. 557], saying: Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from Zayd ibn Aslam regarding the verse: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me" [al-Dhariyat: 56], he said: "[It refers to] what they were fashioned (jubilu) upon of misery and happiness."
٩٣٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ⦗٥٥٧⦘، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ: {وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ} [الذاريات: ٥٦] ، قَالَ: مَا جُبِلُوا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شِقْوَةٍ وَسَعَادَةٍ
