789 - Harb informed me, saying: Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, saying: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Za'ida, who said: I said to Mansur: "O Abu 'Attab, does the day in which one of us fasts [count as] decreasing [the sins of] those who disparage Abu Bakr and 'Umar?" He said: "Yes."
٧٨٩ - أَخْبَرَنِي حَرْبٌ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِمَنْصُورٍ: " يَا أَبَا عَتَّابٍ، الْيَوْمَ ⦗٤٩٦⦘ الَّذِي يَصُومُ فِيهِ أَحَدُنَا يَنْتَقِصُ الَّذِينَ يَنْتَقِصُونَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ "
