953 - Muhammad ibn Abi Harun informed me that Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn Hani' narrated to them, saying: I asked Abu Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal], and I said: "Who was the first to speak about [the nature of] faith?" He replied: "They say: The first to speak about it was Dharr."
٩٥٣ - أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَارُونَ، أَنَّ إِسْحَاقَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ هَانِئٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قُلْتُ: أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِي الْإِيمَانِ مَنْ هُوَ؟ ⦗٥٦٤⦘ قَالَ: " يَقُولُونَ: أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِيهِ ذَرٌّ "
