And among the statements of the Murji'ah is what Mis'ar said: "I am in doubt about everything except for faith." This is the easiest of their statements, and Abu 'Abd Allah, may Allah have mercy on him, has explained it.
وَمِنْ قَوْلِ الْمُرْجِئَةِ: قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ: أَشُكُّ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا فِي الْإِيمَانِ، وَهُوَ أَسْهَلُ قَوْلٍ لَهُمْ، وَقَدْ فَسَّرَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ
