988 - Musa ibn Sahl informed me, saying: Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Asadi narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Sa'id, who said: I asked Ahmad: 'Do you fear that disbelief might enter upon one who says: "Faith is [merely] speech without action?"' He replied: "They do not become disbelievers because of that."
