794 - Harb ibn Isma'il al-Kirmani informed me, saying: Musa ibn Harun ibn Ziyad narrated to us, saying: I heard al-Firyabi when a man asked him about someone who insulted Abu Bakr. He said: "[He is] an unbeliever." [The man] asked: "Should the funeral prayer be performed for him?" He said: "No." And I asked him: "How should he be dealt with while he says: 'There is no god but Allah'?" He said: "Do not touch him with your hands; lift him using wood until you conceal him in his grave."
