1009 - Musa ibn Sahl informed me, saying: Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Asadi narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Sa'id, who said: I asked Ahmad about someone who says, "Faith increases and decreases." He replied, "This person is free from Irja' (the doctrine that works are not part of faith)."
