1046 - 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Abd al-Hamid informed me that he heard Abu 'Abd Allah mention the Book regarding increase, and he mentioned modesty, and he mentioned Jarir, and he mentioned decrease, [and that] He will bring out of the Fire whoever has the weight of a grain [of faith] in his heart, and his statement: "The adulterer does not commit adultery..."
١٠٤٦ - فَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ذَكَرَ الْكِتَابَ فِي الزِّيَادَةِ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَيَاءَ، وَذَكَرَ جَرِيرًا، وَذَكَرَ النُّقْصَانَ، يُخْرِجُ مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ، وَقَوْلُهُ: لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي
