1048 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hazim and Muqatil ibn Salih informed us, saying: Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to us that Ishaq ibn Rahawayh said: "Faith increases and decreases; it decreases until nothing of it remains."
١٠٤٨ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، وَمُقَاتِلُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَا: ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَنَّ إِسْحَاقَ بْنَ رَاهَوَيْهِ قَالَ: «الْإِيمَانُ يَزِيدُ وَيَنْقُصُ، يَنْقُصُ حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ»
