1053 - Muhammad ibn Abi Harun informed us that Ishaq narrated to them, saying: Abu Abd Allah said: I heard Yahya ibn Sa'id say: "I have not encountered any of our companions, neither Ibn 'Awn nor anyone else, except that they would make the exception (al-istithna') regarding faith."
١٠٥٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَارُونَ، أَنَّ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، يَقُولُ: «مَا أَدْرَكْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا، لَا ابْنَ عَوْنٍ، وَلَا غَيْرَهُ إِلَّا وَهُمْ يَسْتَثْنُونَ فِي الْإِيمَانِ»
