776 - Ahmad ibn Hamdawayh al-Hamadhani informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abi Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Abi Abdah narrated to us that it was said to Abu Abd Allah concerning a man who, they say, prefers Ali over Abu Bakr and Umar—may Allah have mercy on them both. He disapproved of that and considered it a serious matter, saying: "I fear he may be a Rafidi."
