1068 - Ahmad ibn Asram al-Muzani informed me that it was said to Abu 'Abd Allah: 'If a man asks me, "Are you a believer?"' He replied, "His asking you this is an innovation (bid'ah); your faith is not in doubt," or he said, "We do not doubt our faith." Al-Muzani said: 'My recollection is that Abu 'Abd Allah said: "I say as Tawus said: 'I believe in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers.'"
