1069 - Yusuf ibn Musa informed me that Abu 'Abd Allah was asked about a man who is asked: "Are you a believer?" He replied: "His asking you this is an innovation (bid'ah); let him say: 'If Allah wills (in sha' Allah).'"
١٠٦٩ - وَأَخْبَرَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقَالَ لَهُ ⦗٦٠٢⦘: أَمُؤْمِنٌ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ: " سُؤَالُهُ إِيَّاكَ بِدْعَةٌ، يَقُولُ: إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ "
