1081 - Muhammad ibn Abi al-Husayn al-Kufi informed us, saying: Ibn al-Asbahani narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, who said: "I encountered thirty of the Companions of Muhammad, all of whom feared hypocrisy (nifaq), and not one of them would say, 'I have the faith of Gabriel and Michael.'"
١٠٨١ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحُسَيْنِ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ: " أَدْرَكْتُ ثَلَاثِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ ⦗٦٠٨⦘ مُحَمَّدٍ، كُلُّهُمْ يَخَافُ النِّفَاقَ، لَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ يَقُولُ: أَنَا عَلَى إِيمَانِ جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ "
