810 - And Abd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal informed us, saying: I heard Harun ibn Sufyan, saying: I heard Abu Abd Allah say, when he mentioned these hadiths that contain the mention of the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: "These are the hadiths of the dead."
٨١٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ هَارُونَ بْنَ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: وَذَكَرَ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثَ الَّتِي فِيهَا ذِكْرُ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «هَذِهِ أَحَادِيثُ الْمَوْتَى»
