834 - Ya'qub ibn Sufyan informed us, saying: Ibrahim ibn al-Mundhir related to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Talhah ibn al-Tawil al-Taymi related to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salim ibn 'Utbah ibn 'Uwaym ibn Sa'idah related to us, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Indeed, Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, chose me, and He chose companions for me. He made among them in-laws, supporters, and ministers. Whoever insults them, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, will not accept from him any mandatory or supererogatory deed on the Day of Resurrection.'
٨٣٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ الطَّوِيلِ التَّيْمِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَالِمِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عُوَيْمِ بْنِ سَاعِدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى اخْتَارَنِي، وَاخْتَارَ لِي أَصْحَابًا، فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمْ أَصْهَارًا، وَأَنْصَارًا، وَوُزَرَاءَ، فَمَنْ سَبَّهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا»
