863 - Abu Bakr al-Marwudhi informed us, saying: I asked Abu 'Abdullah (Ahmad ibn Hanbal) about 'Amr ibn 'Ubayd. He replied: "He did not affirm the [pre-eternal] knowledge, and this is disbelief in Allah, the Almighty and Exalted."
