1198 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Rahman, meaning Ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Dinar, narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Faith (iman) consists of ninety-nine branches; the greatest of them is the saying: 'There is no god but Allah' (la ilaha illa Allah), the lowest of them is removing harmful objects from the people's path, and modesty (al-haya') is a branch of faith."
