1250 - Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Utbah, from Ibn 'Abbas, from 'Umar, that he said: "We used to recite: 'Do not turn away from your fathers, for it is disbelief on your part,' or: 'Indeed, it is disbelief on your part that you turn away from your fathers.'"

١٢٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: ثنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " كُنَّا نَقْرَأُ: وَلَا تَرْغَبُوا عَنْ آبَائِكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ كُفْرٌ بِكُمْ. أَوْ: إِنَّ كُفْرًا بِكُمْ أَنْ تَرْغَبُوا عَنْ ⦗٩٧⦘ آبَائِكُمْ "
