1253 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: I heard 'Umar say: "We used to read: 'Do not turn away from your fathers, for it is disbelief on your part.' Or: 'It is disbelief on your part that you turn away from your fathers."

١٢٥٣ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ، يَقُولَ: " كُنَّا نَقْرَأُ: لَا تَرْغَبُوا عَنْ آبَائِكُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ كُفْرٌ بِكُمْ. أَوْ: إِنَّ كُفْرًا بِكُمْ أَنْ تَرْغَبُوا عَنْ آبَائِكُمْ "
