1118 - Abu Bakr informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Haytham ibn Kharijah narrated to us, saying: Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Safwan ibn 'Amr, from 'Abd Allah ibn Rabi'ah al-Hadrami, from Abu Hurayrah, that he used to say: 'Faith increases and decreases.'
١١١٨ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا هَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ، قَالَ: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «الْإِيمَانُ يَزِيدُ وَيَنْقُصُ»
