1122 - And Abu Bakr informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Hajjaj ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Talha narrated to us, [who said]: Zubayd informed us, from Zirr, that 'Umar ibn al-Khattab would take the hand of a man or two men from among his companions from the people and say: "Come, let us increase in faith."
١١٢٢ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ ⦗٤٠⦘ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا زُبَيْدٌ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، كَانَ يَأْخُذُ بِيَدِ الرَّجُلِ وَالرَّجُلَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ، فَيَقُولُ: «تَعَالَوْا نَزْدَدْ إِيمَانًا»
