1124 - Abu Bakr informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, and Surayj ibn al-Nu'man narrated to us, saying: 'Abd Allah ibn Nafi' narrated to us, saying: Malik used to say: "Faith is speech and action; it increases and decreases."
١١٢٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَثَنًا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ مَالِكٌ يَقُولُ: «الْإِيمَانُ قَوْلٌ ⦗٤١⦘ وَعَمَلٌ، يَزِيدُ وَيَنْقُصُ»
