1136 - Abu Bakr informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Affan narrated to us, saying: Hammad narrated to us, saying: Al-Mughirah narrated to us, saying: I heard Anas saying: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "There is no faith for the one who has no trustworthiness (amanah), and there is no religion for the one who has no covenant (ahd)."
١١٣٦ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: ثنا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: ثنا حَمَّادٌ، قَالَ: ثنا الْمُغِيرَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لَا أَمَانَةَ لَهُ، وَلَا دِينَ لِمَنْ لَا عَهْدَ لَهُ»
