1144 - Abu Bakr informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Samad ibn Hassan narrated to us, saying: Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us, from Yazid, from Mujahid, who said: "Faith increases and decreases; it is speech and action."
١١٤٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: «الْإِيمَانُ ⦗٤٩⦘ يَزِيدُ وَيَنْقُصُ، قَوْلٌ وَعَمَلٌ»
