1160 - Al-Duri informed us, saying: Hajjaj al-A'war narrated to us, from Sharik, from al-A'mash and al-Mughirah, from Abu Wa'il, that a weaver from the Murji'ah heard of the statement of 'Abd Allah [ibn Mas'ud] regarding faith (iman), and he said: "That is a slip from a scholar."
١١٦٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا الدُّورِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا حَجَّاجٌ الْأَعْوَرُ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، وَالْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، أَنَّ حَائِكًا مِنَ الْمُرْجِئَةِ بَلَغَهُ قَوْلُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِي الْإِيمَانِ، فَقَالَ: «تِلْكَ زَلَّةٌ مِنْ عَالِمٍ»
