1622 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Waki' narrated to us, saying: Al-Awza'i narrated to us, from Hassan b. 'Atiyyah, from 'Abd Allah b. Abi Zakariyya, who said: It has reached me that when a man shows off (riya') with any of his deeds, Allah (the Almighty and Majestic) invalidates what preceded that.
١٦٢٢ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، ⦗٦٤⦘ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا، قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا رَايَا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ، أَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ "
