1627 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, saying: Yahya narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, that Abu 'Amrah, the mawla of Zayd ibn Khalid, informed him that he heard Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani narrating: That a man from the Muslims passed away on the day of Khaybar, and they mentioned him to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), so he said: "Perform the funeral prayer over your companion." The faces of the people changed because of that, and when he saw what they were feeling, he said: "Indeed, your companion embezzled (ghalla) from the booty in the way of Allah." We searched his belongings and found some beads from the beads of the Jews, which, by Allah, were not worth two dirhams."
