1628 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Amr narrated to us, saying: 'Abbad, meaning Ibn Rashid, narrated to us, from al-Hasan, who said: It was said to Samurah: "Your son did not sleep last night because he was overstuffed (bashiman)?" It was said: "Overstuffed." He said: "If he had died, I would not have performed the funeral prayer over him."
١٦٢٨ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: ثنا عَبَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ رَاشِدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِسَمُرَةَ: إِنَّ ابْنَكَ لَمْ يَنَمِ ⦗٦٧⦘ اللَّيْلَةَ بَشِمًا؟ قِيلَ: بَشِمًا. قَالَ: «لَوْ مَاتَ، لَمْ أُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ»
