1633 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated from Habib ibn al-Shahid, from al-Hasan, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "There are three things, whoever possesses them is a hypocrite, even if he fasts, prays, and claims to be a Muslim: if he speaks, he lies; if he makes a promise, he breaks it; and if he is entrusted, he betrays it."
١٦٣٣ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا الْحَسَنُ، قَالَ: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ. رَوَى حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ فَهُوَ مُنَافِقٌ , وَإِنْ صَامَ وَصَلَّى وَزَعَمَ أَنَّهُ مُسْلِمٌ: مَنْ إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ، وَإِذَا ائْتُمِنَ خَانَ "
