1635 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr and Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, [and] they both said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Awf, from Ibn Munabbih. Abu Dawud said: Wahb said: "A sign of hypocrisy, and [a part] of the characteristics of hypocrisy, is that you dislike blame and love praise."
١٦٣٥ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ ⦗٦٩⦘ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، وَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: قَالَ وَهْبٌ: " آيَةُ النِّفَاقِ , وَمِنْ أَخْلَاقِ النِّفَاقِ: أَنْ تَكْرَهَ الذَّمَّ , وَتُحِبَّ الْمَدْحَ "
