1673 - Muhammad ibn Isma'il al-Ahmasi al-Kufi informed us, saying: Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from 'Abd Allah ibn Dinar, from Abi Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Faith has seventy-odd branches, the lowest of which is removing an obstacle from the road, and the highest of which is the saying: 'There is no god but Allah.'"
١٦٧٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْإِيمَانُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ بَابًا، فَأَدْنَاهُ إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنْ الطَرِيقِ، وَأَرْفَعُهَا قَوْلُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ»
