1685 - Yahya ibn Ja'far ibn Talib informed us, saying: 'Ali ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, saying: I heard Ibn al-Mubarak say: "We can relate the words of the Jews and the Christians, but we cannot bear to relate the words of the Jahmiyyah."
١٦٨٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ طَالِبٍ قَالَ: ثنا عَلِّيُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ يَقُولُ «إِنَّا لَنَحْكِي كَلَامَ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى وَلَا نَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ نَحْكِيَ كَلَامَ الْجَهْمِيَّةِ»
