1713 - 'Abd al-Malik al-Maymuni informed me, saying: I heard Abu 'Abd Allah mentioning the Jahmiyyah. A man said to Abu 'Abd Allah: 'What is your opinion if he dies in a village where there is no one but Christians? Who shall attend his funeral?' Abu 'Abd Allah replied: 'I do not attend it; let whoever wishes attend it.' Abu 'Abd Allah said to me: 'More than one person narrates from Waki', that he said: "He is a disbeliever (kafir)."'
