1725 - Abu Bakr ibn Sadaqah informed me, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn Mansur al-Tusi say: We used to go to Sa'dawayh. He said: Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Yahya ibn Ma'in, Abu Khaythamah, and a number of others were present. He said: Bishr al-Mirrisi met us, so Abu Khaythamah confronted him. Then he turned to us and said: "Have you ever seen anyone more resembling the Jews than him?" He said: Ahmad ibn Hanbal (may Allah have mercy on him) began saying to Abu Khaythamah (may Allah have mercy on him): "You will cause me trouble, O Abu Khaythamah. I have seen [someone with] a face like that."
