1754 - Abu Bakr al-Marrudhi informed us, saying: Harun ibn 'Abd Allah al-Bazzaz narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Kabshah narrated to me, saying: "I was at sea, and I heard a caller saying: The Marisi lied against Allah, may the curse of Allah be upon Thumamah. Then we traveled on, and it was said again as such. He said: And there was with us a man from the companions of al-Marisi, and he fell down dead."
