1762 - Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Kahhal informed me, saying: I said to Abu Abd Allah: 'A man prayed over Ibn Abi Du'ad,' and he said: 'This [man] is an adherent [of his ideology], he is a Jahmi.' He [the narrator] said: I mentioned al-Barudi to Abu Abd Allah, and he said: 'That is one of his treasuries, meaning Ibn Abi Du'ad.'
١٧٦٢ - أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْكَحَّالُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: رَجُلٌ صَلَّى عَلَى ابْنِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، فَقَالَ: «هَذَا مُعْتَقِدٌ، هُوَ جَهْمِيٌّ» ، قَالَ: وَذَكَرْتُ لِأَبِي ⦗١١٩⦘ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَارُودِيَّ، فَقَالَ: " ذَاكَ خِزَانَةُ بْنُ خَزَايِنِهِ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي دُؤَادَ
